When CCU auto-expansion is enabled, servers expand to accommodate more users than the base capacity. The CCU auto-expansion fee is calculated as time the expanded server is running (seconds) × monthly base fee converted to per-second value (price/second).
For example, if you're using BASIC 100 plan and the number of connected users reaches 150, requiring expansion to accommodate 200 users total, and this lasted for 1 hour, the additional fee would be (3600 seconds) × ($10 / 31 days / 24 hours / 60 minutes / 60 seconds) ≈ $0.0134.
Yes, you can use Chat independently without Base.
Connect using custom authentication. Instead of using the user DB and authentication server provided by BACKND, you can connect your own user server to the BACKND chat server.
Use Platform API. It provides live operations features in HTTP API format to directly manage chat server data. If you have built a separate operations dashboard, you can connect Platform API directly to operate your game more effectively.
You can continue using the existing plans until you explicitly change to the new plans.
The fees are calculated and charged in USD, and the actual payment amount is converted into KRW (Korean Won) based on the Seoul Foreign Exchange Brokerage’s announced base exchange rate on the last day of the service month.
If the exchange rate is below 1,200 KRW, a minimum rate of 1,200 KRW will be applied.
The reference date for the exchange rate used in billing is the last day of the service month, and the current charges are based on the exchange rate as of the previous day.
